At Gesellschaft für Umwelt- und Energie- Serviceleistungen mbH, we understand sustainability as the comprehensive conservation of all resources, including our employees. Our focus is on benefits, maintaining and helping to shape the state of the art as well as social commitment in the areas of sport, culture and support for the needy.
We are implementing concrete projects and organisational anchoring for sustainability. These include the development of two patents for the recovery of metals, which we will realise this year in collaboration with a partner. So far, we have been able to recover over 1,000 tonnes of coins and return them to the currency cycle.
External projects in which we participate include supporting local sports clubs such as TTC Beuren and Ravensburg Leprechauns as well as exceptional athletes such as Flynn Stumper (golf). Our criteria for project participation include social commitment, inclusion, equal opportunities and support for specific goals. Positive results include the development of the TTC Beuren women's table tennis team, support for participation in an international golf tournament and the return of a baseball team to league play. We also provide regular financial support to an orphanage in the Philippines.
The realisation of one of our patents enables the self-sustaining recovery of precious metals from e-waste dust for the first time, while a large proportion of the waste is recycled.
We ensure that our organisation has qualified personnel with specialist knowledge in the area of sustainability. This includes the recruitment and training of experts and the establishment of teams that deal exclusively with sustainability issues. In addition, the sustainability aspect is taken into account in all phases of our projects.
